Although we do not provide transportation we can help you apply for a bus pass through our connections with Merseytravel or look at other funding options with you. We also have staff who are qualified to provide travel training for students who are interested in independent travel.
We can help you determine whether your benefits would be affected by starting a course with us. We can also refer you to other agencies who offer guidance.
Activate is committed to providing a safe, secure and healthy environment for all our students, staff and visitors. We have two designated Safeguarding Leads who can be contacted through our office.
As part of our assessment process we look at how technology can be used to enhance your learning experience. You can bring any of your existing equipment to use at Activate, or we can apply for funding to source equipment for you. Our Assistive Technologist will spend time teaching you to use equipment, apps and programmes, as well as helping you with any problems.
